Fenway CDC Board Elections

Sarah Jenness – Re-elected Board President
Sarah Jenness is a non-profit professional who has lived in the Fenway since 2015. Sarah works as a Director at Jobs for the Future, where her work is focused on changing education and workforce systems to more seamlessly connect young people’s education to in-demand careers that pay a living wage.
Sarah became familiar with the Fenway CDC as an organizing committee member in 2017 and joined the board in 2019. She has a bachelor’s degree from Bryn Mawr College and a Master’s in Public Policy from Simmons University. Sarah loves how walkable the Fenway neighborhood is, with many restaurants, shops, cultural institutions, and healthcare facilities all nearby. She highly recommends checking out the Fenway’s Kelleher Rose Garden during June when the roses are in bloom.

Vicky Liao – Newly Elected Board Member
Vicky Liao is a finance professional with experience in mutual funds and investment banking. She has lived in Fenway for 15 years and first got involved in the community by volunteering at fundraising events for the Fenway CDC.
Vicky has enjoyed seeing Fenway grow while staying diverse and welcoming. The mix of historic and modern buildings gives the neighborhood a unique charm, and its culture makes it an exciting place to live. With great restaurants, museums, and schools nearby, Fenway is a safe and thriving community where students, young professionals, and families can feel at home.
